Meet the Team

At Care2Communicate, our team is the heart of everything we do. Each of our speech pathologists brings compassion, expertise and a deep commitment to helping individuals find their voice. Get to know the friendly faces who walk alongside our clients every step of the way, supporting communication, connection and confidence.

Hi, I'm Blair, a passionate Speech Pathologist, Orofacial Myologist and proud founder of Care2Communicate. I truly believe in the power of connection to help people thrive.

What I’m most proud of is the team we’ve built. At Care2Communicate, we’re a group of speech pathologists who genuinely love what we do and who care just as much about each other as we do about the people we support. I started this company with the vision of creating a team culture that was built on friendship, shared passion and genuine collaboration. I wanted a team that felt supported, inspired, and valued.

I hold a Bachelor of Speech and Hearing Sciences and a Master of Speech Pathology and have been lucky to work across a wide range of settings, from private practice to aged care, schools, daycare centres, and out in the community. Each environment has deepened my understanding of how meaningful, accessible communication can change lives. At Care2Communicate, we believe communication is a human right, not just through words, but through gestures, devices, sounds, pictures, and presence.

Meet Sinead

Clinical Manager & Speech Pathologist

I’m a Senior Speech Pathologist and Clinical Manager here at Care2Communicate.

Growing up, my mother coached Special Olympics teams at both national and international levels, and I was lucky to be involved from an early age. Being part of that inclusive and empowering environment gave me a deep appreciation for working with people of all abilities. It sparked a lifelong passion for helping others communicate and connect with the world around them.

I love working with children and families early on in their journey, especially during those first steps after a diagnosis. It’s incredibly rewarding to help families build confidence, understand their child’s communication needs, and realise how they can make a difference through simple everyday interactions.

I have a strong interest in early intervention, particularly with children on the autism spectrum. I enjoy creating fun, functional strategies to support communication development in a way that feels natural and achievable for families.

Supportive. Empowering. Practical.

Anything with bubbles, they’re simple, fun, and magical for connection!

I’m sports mad! I love watching all types of sport, especially rugby, basketball, and hurling (an Irish sport).

Meet Sian

Intake Manager

I’m the Intake Manager. I am the first point of contact for our families, Support Coordinators and other Allied Healthcare Professionals. Working in the NDIS space means my role is all about creating a welcoming, supportive entry point into our services. I make sure every connection is handled with care, professionalism and most importantly, kindness. I guide them through the intake process, help them understand their options and ensure they feel supported from the beginning.

Building trust with families for sure! I love listening to their stories, understanding their goals, and making sure they feel heard and valued. The Intake process can be quite intimidating at times for families, and I am there to make things a little easier for them. If I can do that for them, I’m doing my job right!  It’s so rewarding to be part of their journey, helping lay that first stepping stone, for the life changing support they will receive from our wonderful speech pathologists. Every family is unique, which is super special!

The connections I make with the families, support coordinators and our speech pathologists ( who I am lucky enough to call my friends). I hold so much respect for our team of speech pathologists. Watching them do what they love is an eye opener. They are nothing short of extraordinary! Apart from that, being the calm, reassuring voice on the other end of the phone for our families is amazing. I want to remain that person who listens and understands them. It means so much to me knowing that my conversations with them, whether big or small, make a huge difference in helping them feel supported. Even more than that, that it makes them feel hopeful.

Taking the time to truly listen to our families. I like to show all our family’s genuine warmth. I also remember the little details they share because I care. Keeping things personal makes all the difference when caring for people in the healthcare system. It’s monumental in my eyes.

I am a major movie buff!  It’s hard finding the time to watch movies these days with my two kids, but I have so much love for film. Old and new. Nancy Meyers is my favourite film director. I also love to sing and used to compete with my sister as a teenager. I have a great appreciation for music.

Meet Olivia

Speech Pathologist & Orofacial Myologist

I’m a Senior Speech Pathologist here at Care2Communicate.

I was inspired to become a Speech Pathologist because my mum is profoundly deaf, and growing up, I was fascinated by the relationship between hearing and speech. I’ve always admired how she taught herself to speak without being able to hear, it showed me how powerful communication is and sparked my passion for helping others find their voice.

What I love most about my job is helping people communicate in ways that feel right for them. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch someone grow in confidence as they express themselves more easily, connect with others, and feel understood in their own way.

I’m particularly passionate about helping individuals build communication skills that are practical and meaningful in their everyday lives. I enjoy focusing on functional communication, so people can express themselves confidently in any environment. Another key area of interest is helping people with articulation and speech clarity, particularly those who experience hearing loss.

Flexible. Practical. Creative.

Spot It is my go-to game in therapy because it’s incredibly flexible, allowing me to adapt it to different goals while keeping the experience fun and engaging. Plus, it’s always great for bringing out that competitive side in everyone, making it a little more exciting every time!

I’m a big Pokémon fan. I’ve loved it since I was a kid and still enjoy collecting, playing, and talking all things Pikachu!

Meet Georgia

Speech Pathologist

I’m Speech Pathologist at Care2Communicate.

I’ve always known I wanted to help people, but I wasn’t sure in what way. After volunteering in disability schools and observing speech pathologists in action, I felt immediately inspired by the positive impact they had. Seeing how they empowered individuals to communicate more effectively made me realise that this was the path I wanted to follow.

No two days are ever the same. I love the variety of working with both children and adults, and the constant opportunities to learn and grow. It’s incredibly rewarding to help people find their voice, however that may look for them.

I’m especially passionate about early intervention, dysphagia (swallowing difficulties), and adult language and voice therapy. I love the diversity these areas bring to my caseload.

Functional, fun, and meaningful.

Play-Doh! It’s incredibly versatile, it supports language development, fine motor skills, creativity, and engagement across all ages.

I love running, it’s my go-to way to unwind and reset after a busy day!

Meet Marie

Speech Pathologist

I’m Speech Pathologist at Care2Communicate.

From a young age, I recognised the profound importance of communication in everyday life. I saw firsthand how the ability to be heard – as opposed to not being heard – can change a person’s life instantly. Whether it’s expressing needs, sharing ideas, or simply connecting with others, communication shapes how we engage with the world around us. This understanding inspired me to pursue Speech Pathology, so I can support individuals in finding their voice and ensuring they have the opportunity to participate fully and confidently in their lives.

What I love most about my job as a Speech Pathologist is the opportunity to empower individuals to communicate in ways that truly reflect who they are. Helping someone find their voice, whether through speech, alternative communication or other strategies, is about more than just words. It is about advocating for their right to be heard and actively participate in their world. I also enjoy the flexibility of being a mobile Speech Pathologist, as it allows me to travel between sessions, discover new places and meet new people. 😊

I truly enjoy working in areas of language and literacy therapy but most recently, I have gained my passion with Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC). Whilst I am still learning more about the AAC world, I have advocated for participants who need different kinds of devices based on their needs, skills, and capacities. These include: GoTalk 20+, iPad with Proloquo2Go/LAMP WFL, and Accent 1000.

Client-centred, functional, and fun!

Recently, I have been obsessed with ‘Who is this?’ and playdough!

I love watching thriller/horror movies and documentaries.

Meet Ruth

Speech Pathologist

I’m a senior Speech Pathologist at Care2Communicate.

Growing up, I had a close family member with a learning disability, and I often sat in on his therapy sessions, sometimes even participating alongside him. That early experience showed me just how meaningful and far-reaching the impact of speech therapy can be. During what was a challenging time for our family, we felt incredibly supported by his speech therapist. That experience inspired me to become the kind of therapist who provides that same level of care, guidance, and support to every client and family I work with.

What I love most about my job is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the individuals and families I work with. Supporting someone as they find their voice, whether through speech or alternative communication methods, is incredibly rewarding. I see each client’s path to successful communication as a journey, and I want families to know that I’ll be there to support them every step of the way. The personal connections I form with clients and their families are the highlight of my work, and it’s truly inspiring to watch their confidence in communicating grow.

I have a strong passion for working with school-aged children and teenagers. I am particularly interested in supporting children with communication challenges as they navigate their educational and social environments. I enjoy helping them develop the skills they need to succeed in both academic and social settings, building their confidence along the way.

Motivating, engaging and supportive.

I don’t have one specific go-to game or activity, as I tailor each session to the individual needs and interests of the client I’m working with. By incorporating activities that are personally engaging and motivating for each child, I’m able to create a more meaningful and effective therapy experience that supports their goals while keeping them actively involved.

I love snowboarding and have had the opportunity to spend two seasons in Canada, where I enjoyed exploring the slopes and embracing the outdoors.

Meet Chloe

Speech Pathologist

I’m Speech Pathologist at Care2Communicate.

I’ve always been drawn to a career that’s both rewarding and centred around helping others. When my cousin worked with a speech pathologist as a child due to hearing loss, I saw firsthand the incredible progress she made. Watching her journey inspired me and confirmed that this profession was the perfect fit for my values and interests.

I love being a speech pathologist because it allows me to support people from all walks of life, whether they’re navigating acquired communication disorders or developmental challenges. It’s incredibly rewarding to build meaningful connections with both clients and their families, and to work together toward achieving goals that can truly improve quality of life.

I love fluency and stuttering, as well as early intervention!

Fun. Encouraging. Collaborative.

Pop the pig. You can target so many goals with it!

I received my black belt in taekwondo when I was 15 years old!

Meet Annalia

Speech Pathologist

I’m Speech Pathologist at Care2Communicate.

My journey into speech pathology was inspired by my dad, who experienced multiple traumatic brain injuries when I was growing up. His injuries affected his ability to speak, and I saw how much it impacted his daily life and our family. Even though it was challenging, it also showed me just how powerful communication really is, and how much joy and connection it brings. That experience sparked my interest in speech pathology, and the more I learned, the more passionate I became. Now, I feel incredibly lucky to work in a field where I get to help people express themselves, connect with others, and celebrate every little step forward in communication. It’s a privilege to be part of those moments with the individuals and families I support.

What I love most about my job is seeing the positive impact that communication support can have on someone’s life. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch someone grow in confidence and independence as they find new ways to express themselves, whether that’s through spoken language, a communication device, or another method that works for them.

I have a strong interest in working with adults, particularly those with communication challenges following brain injuries or neurological conditions. I find it incredibly rewarding to support individuals as they regain their ability to communicate and reconnect with the people around them. At the same time, I also have a passion for working with children, especially since becoming a mum myself. Having a young daughter has deepened my understanding of the importance of early support. I love working closely with families also, helping them feel empowered, involved, and supported throughout the therapy journey.

Empathetic. Collaborative. Functional.

Pop up pirate, everyone loves pop up pirate!

Something people might not know about me is that I’m really into beauty! I used to work as a lash and brow technician, and now it’s a secret weapon of mine that comes in handy because I can do my own lashes and brows whenever I need to. Especially as a mum who’s always on the go, it’s a handy little time-saver!

Meet Rachel

Speech Pathologist

I’m Speech Pathologist at Care2Communicate.

I was inspired to become a Speech Pathologist largely because of my sister, who is a doctor. She spent years working alongside Speech Pathologists and always spoke highly of their compassion and the meaningful impact they had on their clients’ lives. She often said it would be her second career choice and thought it would be a perfect fit for me.

What I love most about being a Speech Pathologist is the incredible privilege of helping people to communicate. Watching a client grow in confidence, express themselves more freely, and connect with the world around them is deeply moving. Every small breakthrough feels like a big victory. It’s a career full of heart, purpose, and real impact. I truly can’t imagine doing anything else.

I have a keen interest in early language development, and speech sound disorders. I love the creativity and play involved in early intervention, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see how timely support can make such a lasting difference in a child’s life.

Compassionate. Playful. Purposeful.

Playdough is one of my go-to activities because it offers endless possibilities for play, creativity and language development. It is a hands-on, engaging activity that targets a variety of skills and language goals, all while encouraging fun and imaginative play.

One fun thing people might not know about me is that I am from Ireland and did Irish dancing competitively for over 10 years!

Meet Anushka

Speech Pathologist

I’m Speech Pathologist at Care2Communicate.

I’ve always known that I wanted to work in healthcare, but I wasn’t sure which path to take. While researching the different fields within health, I came across speech pathology and was immediately drawn to it. I was fascinated to learn that speech pathologists not only help people with communication challenges but also provide therapy for swallowing difficulties. The idea of supporting individuals in such essential aspects of daily life really resonated with me, and that’s what inspired me to pursue a career in this field.

What I love most about my job is helping children find their voice and watching their communication skills grow. There’s something incredibly special about seeing a child begin to communicate with intention, whether it’s using words, gestures, or alternative communication methods, and witnessing the joy and relief that brings to their parents. Being part of those first meaningful interactions and helping families connect in new ways is what makes this work so fulfilling for me.

I’m particularly interested in early intervention and supporting children with developmental language delays, as well as feeding and swallowing therapy across all ages. I love helping children communicate intentionally and seeing the positive impact that has on their families. I’m also passionate about working with both children and adults to improve swallowing safety and comfort, as it plays such a vital role in overall well-being.

Play-based, fun, and outside-the-box.

One of my go-to activities is using Playdough. It’s a fantastic tool for targeting speech and language goals like vocabulary building, storytelling, and practicing sounds. Kids love it, and I can use it to create fun scenarios that encourage communication and turn-taking, making therapy both engaging and effective.

Something people might not know about me is that I have two dogs who keep me on my toes! They’re always up for a game of fetch or a walk, and I love how they bring a sense of fun and relaxation into my day.

Meet Monique

Speech Pathologist

Fun fact: before I became a speech pathologist, I actually studied sport and exercise science. Two big moments really shaped my path, working with people with disabilities to create personalised exercise programs, and helping train Aussie athletes in a Paralympic sport called Boccia. I loved being part of something that supported people in different ways, and I quickly realised how important communication was in making those connections.

This ultimately led me back to Uni to pursue speech pathology.

In short,  I like to say that I didn’t set out to pursue this career, but that Speech Pathology actually found me. What a happy ride it has been so far!

Lots of things. I love working with kids and their families to explore and support all the things that make them unique. I love how I am always learning something new, and I love chasing opportunities to develop my clinical skillset. Most of all, I love being an advocate and an ally for the kids I work with, and most of all helping them participate and interact more meaningfully with others in their world.

I love supporting kids with a variety of challenges and communication styles, particularly speech sounds and articulation, literacy, stuttering, and social language skills. I’m passionate about neurodiverse-affirming and trauma-informed practice. I’m also big on using a dynamic, holistic approach, which tailors therapy to the needs of each child, their family, and their environment.

Smelly stickers and sensory toys! A fun combination for reward or reinforcement, using routines, emotional regulation, and exploring sensory language through sight, smell, sound, and touch.

I love to make greeting cards in my spare time! I also have a big goofy goldendoodle dog called Moose.
